Mission Statement: To bear witness to God’s love for all people by speaking and acting decisively against gun violence and reducing gun violence.

We commit to:

• Serve as an active and relevant resource to the diocese, including individual parishes, deaneries, etc. in conjunction and cooperation with the Bishop and diocesan staff Deepen our understandings of the systems and sources that perpetuate gun violence
• Form partnerships with organizations outside of the diocese
• Foster community empowerment to address gun violence, building hope and stamina in the place of tragedy and helplessness
• Have a practical, measurable, and sustained impact on ending gun violence

We ground our work in the liberating love of Jesus Christ and understand this work as part of God’s desire for justice and peace.
